Laurel leads choirs at Kings' College London, London Youth Choirs, and Note-Orious Community Choir in East Dulwich. She directs Hampton Court Palace's outreach project, Songstars, and works as a workshop leader for The Sixteen and Voces8. Since 2022 she has toured the UK as a vocalist and instrumentalist with Gareth Malone’s 'Singalong-a-Gareth’ show. In March 2024 Laurel's International Women's Day event with Music Offices, where she led a massed choir through the City of London, was covered by ITV news.
